‚Prana is the Master, the Power of creation within us‘
Prana is our life force that gives us energy to live. We receive Prana from many more sources than we may think. Often times, we don’t pay attention to all of the healthy ways that we can receive Prana and what an impact it has on our overall well-being. Over time, our Prana may become disturbed because we are taking in too much unhealthy Prana. This can lead to insomnia, depression, burn out or other serious illnesses. As each spring comes to a close and we prepare for summer, it is the perfect time to take in all the amazing sources of Prana that are available to us.
Come spend a very special weekend with us and discover first hand how we can improve the way we receive healthy Prana in our daily lives. What better way to experience this than by spending an enjoyable and peaceful weekend with like minded people practicing yoga, meditation and other spiritual practices, eating fresh vegetarian food, and enjoying the beautiful nature and fresh air of the Swiss mountains?
The 3-night retreat will be held at a wonderful location in Pradaschier, near Churwalden called the Ganden Chökhor Tibetan-Buddhist-Meditation Center. It is a peaceful place steeped in history and full of spirituality and positive energy. The beautiful nature of the Swiss mountains will surround you and the wild flowers and green forests will entice you to spend time reconnecting with nature and all it`s beauty
During the retreat, we will take a close look at how we obtain Prana and whether we are receiving healthy or unhealthy sources of Prana in our daily lives. We will assess whether our Prana is disturbed and at what we call `The reward deficiency system’ which explains to us what seek when our Prana is deficient. We will look at the coping mechanisms of deficient Prana and what we can do to improve our Prana on a daily basis. We will be practicing these first hand so that you can experience the difference it makes in your overall well-being.
The weekend will include:
- 2 morning Sadhana practices (Pranyama and meditation)
- 4 yoga sessions
- 3 lectures
- 1 evening meditation practice
- 1 fun-filled evening of mantra singing
- You will have the afternoon free on Friday to rest, take a hike or enjoy time on yourown or with others.
- On Saturday afternoon we will also take a nice and gentle hike in the beautiful forestof the Swiss mountains.
- Give yourself the gift of a short break to improve your overall health and well-beingbefore the busyness of summer begins.
