Birthday Weekend and Initiation of the five Buddha Garudas

This weekend we celebrate Lodrö Rinpoche’s precious birthday.

On this occasion, it is Rinpoche’s wish to give us the Five Buddha Garuda Initiations. This practice bestows upon practitioners protection in relation to the Five Great Buddha Wisdoms and our Five Aggregates (form, feeling, discrimination, creative power, and consciousness).

Buddha’s wisdom and action overcome obstacles for us that have arisen due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of our human condition and circumstances.
